We started in voice. The AI came from there.

Carrier routes first, then the connectivity under them, then messaging. BE AI is what we built on top.

Binary Elements writes the software and, in Australia, runs the network a good deal of it sits on. BE AI is the platform we make now; the carrier voice and connectivity business is where it came from, and both are still sold on their own. Sitting on both sides of that line is why the unglamorous half of an AI deployment — what happens when a call drops, how a number gets provisioned, what failover looks like at two in the morning — is work we do rather than work we escalate.

How a voice carrier ended up building AI

See how we work
It started with voice

Carrier-grade trunks, business numbers and phone systems, on our own network rather than resold minutes. That is still a product you can buy on its own today, and it is why the AI has a dial tone underneath it.

Then the line underneath it

A phone system is only as good as the connection beneath it, so we took that on too: NBN, failover, private site-to-site links and managed routers. Monitored by the same people who run the voice.

Then messaging

BE Messaging — shared inbox, true MMS, inbound voice and number porting on the same business numbers as the calls, with a BE AI agent on that number.

Now the AI on top of all of it

BE AI answers on every one of those channels and reads from the systems your business already runs on. It is not tied to our network either: where somebody else carries the calls, it connects to that instead.

What building it ourselves actually changes

Three practical differences, not a positioning statement.

The platform is ours to change

The people who would write the change work here, so a request becomes a release instead of a roadmap item. That is the whole of the mechanism.

It plugs into what you already run

BE AI connects to your telephony, your ERP and your systems wherever you are. Where we carry the calls ourselves, there is nobody else in the chain at all; where we do not, nothing about it requires you to be our network customer.

Infrastructure is not a slide for us

We run a carrier voice network and a connectivity business. That is rare for an AI vendor, and it is why uptime, routing and failover are things we operate rather than things we escalate.

An AI deployment is mostly not the AI. It is provisioning, routing, failover, the retry when a system times out, and who picks up at two in the morning. We were doing that part for years before there was an agent on top of it.

The platform, and the products around it

BE AI is the platform we build and sell. Voice, Messaging, Internet and Hub are products still sold on their own — Hub is the control-first RMM surface that uses BE AI.

BE AI Platform
BE AI

Our own AI platform. It answers on phone, chat, email and SMS, reads from the systems you already run, and does it under governance you set. It goes wherever the customer is.

BE Voice Platform
BE Voice

Our Australian voice network. VoIP trunks, business numbers, call routing and phone systems, sold on their own, and the layer BE AI speaks through here.

BE Messaging Platform
BE Messaging

Shared inbox, cases, true MMS, inbound voice and number porting on a business 04, with a BE AI agent that can draft or send on the same number.

BE Internet Platform
BE Internet

Australian business connectivity: managed routers, failover and secure site-to-site links, so the line under the phone system is ours as well.

BE Hub Platform
BE Hub

Control-first RMM for hybrid infrastructure. Monitor the estate; BE AI finds the cause and writes the exact command; a named person approves every change. Primary RMM, not an add-on.

We are not trying to replace the people who answer your phones. We are trying to make sure nobody waits until Monday for something your system already knows.
